Sprint preparing to march the pre-paid market together with Virgin Mobile and Boost Mobile

Recently Sprint announces that it is preparing to expend the pre-paid market, and with the help of its subsidiaries Virgin Mobile and Boost Mobile. Obviously Sprint is expending it market, as it has been constantly losing post-paid subscribers in the last few years, if Sprint doesn’t take measures to save the situation, then it will be stand out in the wireless.

Addtionally, it is announced there will be the may new pay be the minute brand(unnamed yet) launched by Sprint possibly starting this month. The brand will be aimed at the budget-conscious customers who spend less than $30 per month and are focused on the value they pay per minute.

Shack to offer pre-orders Sprint HTC EVO 4G later this month

Well, folks, if you can hardly wait to get the HTC EVO 4G for Sprint, here is a good news for you! it is said Shack will offer the pre-orders Sprint HTC EVO 4G starting ‘later this month’, and Shack’s internal website shows that the EVO 4G “coming soon”, then ehich day? Sadly , there is no words on the release date.

Also, the webpage shows that the Sprint EVO 4G will support Android 2.1, an 8 megapixel camera, and 4.3-inch 480 x 800 display backed by fierce Snapdragon silicon. In addtion, it is also mentioned the Evo is equiped with packing WiMAX with built-in hotspot capability. Sprint HTC Evo 4G info

Good news for Sprint customers, now there is a chance for you to get the palm pixi the free, as today Sprint has lowered the price of pixi to $ 0, but if you to get for free, you need order the mobile online through a special web page, and after ordering, you’ll have to wait a few days. Now you can try your luck!

Though some people say Sprint have to drop it to $0, as the new kind phones will be out next month and they know every tween is going to pick one of those phones over the pixi, the palm pixi is still worthy, isn’t it ?

Sprint Sanyo 6760 Incognit – New Sprint phones upcoming on November 30

Kyocera recently introduces a trio of new phones for us, one model named Sanyo SCP-6760 Incognitois is coming to Sprint on November 30th. The Sanyo Incognitois is a sideways clamshell, equiped with both a touch display and full QWERTY keyboard. In addtion, the Incognito also features 3G, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR and a 2 megapixel camera. I hope its not a cheap plasticy housing somewhat like the original Centro. I couldn’t stand all that cracking.

Moreever, the Sanyo 6760 runs Sprint’s OneClick user interface, it also has threaded messaging, and supports an array of Sprint services. Sadly, there is no words on its price, but it will be in the wild soon.

Sprint Motorola i680 – New Sprint Cell phones

The Motorola i680 is a rugged clamshell, it has just been approved by FCC, likely heading to Sprint Network. Accordind to the FCC documents, the new Sprint Phones might be military green, or it might be plain gray, in a photo with terrible white balance. It’s hard to say for sure, so we posted it as-is.

FCC has conformed that the i680 will support Bluetooth, GPS and 800/900MHz iDEN network.

Sadly, the Motorola i680 hasn’t been announced by Sprint or motorola, so we don’t know when it will be available and how much it costs. But stay tuned for our update.

Today we get some infor about one new unannounced motorola phone – Motorola i680, a a rugged clamshell. Though neither Sprint Nextel nor Motorola has officially announced this phone, it is mostly probably heading to Sprint.

The user manual displays the i680 comes with video capture, threaded messaging, audio/video media playback and PTX services. It is confirmed by FCC that the device Supports Bluetooth, GPS, and as well as the 800/900MHz iDEN network. Sprint palm Pixi Unboxed Pictures

As we known , the palm Pixi, Palm’s newest webOS device is coming to Sprint soon. Before it coming out, BGR today gets some unboxed pictures for the new sprint phone.

The Pixi keyboard is not the same as the Pre keyboard. They look the same, and have the same button covers, but mechanically, they behave different. The Pixi keyboard is nicer to type on.

Although the Pixi is a thinner device overall than the Pre, because there is no slider mechanism, the keyboard is a bit thicker and more substantial in the hands. Also, there’s no moving parts. As a result, there is no bending and creaking when you type

The Palm pixi is not recessed in a bowl like the Pre keyboard. The roots of the keys are flush with the surface of the phone, and the buttons are raised above the typing surface, so you’re not reaching your thumbs down into a cranny to get at them.

The Pixi screams the design ethos of the Treo Pro – from the packaging to the charger, from the battery to the overall look, EVERYTHING of the Pixi is simply a redeveloped Treo Pro. If you don’t think that’s good…you’ve never held/used the Treo Pro. It’s an exceptional phone physically, so no minus for Palm to continue along that design.

The design shows that the products belong to the same family, but clearly Palm learned many important lessons and made significant corrections and improvements over the previous design.

But, it does lack WiFi, and for $50 more for the Pre which has Wifi, I guess Id just go get Android and pay $80 more and call it a day.

Sprint will offer BlackBerry Curve 8530, too

Shortly after Verizo announced it would release the blackberry Curve 8530 on november 20th, Sprint also said it would offer the Curve 8530, too. Unlike Verizon, Sprint isn’t mentioning what’s the release date, price and details for the low-end BlackBerry , but now the device has been official on Sprint site, and a Sprint spokesperson said that it is definitely coming and will be packing Wi-Fi and EV-DO, too. The price point should be about the same as Verizon’s.

2010 will be a very big Android year for Sprint

Sprint executive David Owens recently said in a virtual chat on Sprint’s Web site with consumers lots of HTC and BlackBerry phones were coming next year, just in 2010, and HTC phones would be on the Android platform( the htc hero android phone has been on available in 2009 ). Which just means sprint will offer many Android devices from HTC in 2010,, graet! It looks like 2010 will be a very big year for Android for sprint. But whether the 2010 is aso big Android year for both AT&T, verizon and t-mobile or not? Sprint Android cell Phones

Sprint 4G WiMax Network now available in a few markets

Today Sprint Nextel and Clearwire announced the official launch and availability of their WiMax wireless broadband network in a handful of markets. The largest two markets launched are Chicago, Illinois, and Dallas-Ft. Worth, Texas. A number of markets are now live in North Carolina as well, including Cary, Chapel Hill, Charlotte, Durham, Greensboro, High Point, Raleigh, and Winston-Salem. Residents of these markets will be able to purchase laptop dongles that can access the WiMax network and Sprint’s EVDO 3G network in areas where WiMax isn’t available.
