Sprint will offer GSM Version of unlocked iphone 4S

According to BGR, recently it is reported that Sprint and Verizon will provide the GSM Version of Iphone 4S for us. The Macworld conference has confirmed that the iPhone 4S carried by Sprint will be not locked with GSM network, although the iphone 4S sold by Verizon Wireless is locked with GSM, Verizon users can enable the “international unlock” service, this service requires the user’s account has a good reputation at least 60 days.

However, the users who use non-locking version of the iPhone 4S or using international roaming services should note that the unlocked iphone 4S only supports micro-SIM card, rather than the standard SIM card.

As for the release date for Spint iphone, there has been many rumors. Previously it was rumored iphone 5 would be availbale for sale via Sprint on September 5, recently it is said that Sprint will officially release the iphone 5 in the middle of October alongside with Verizon and AT&T.Especially It is Reported Sprint will also sell iPhone 4 at the same day.

As we known, previously the Apple iphone has been only sold by AT&T in US, since February this year, Verizon also starts to provide the CDMA version of iPhone 4. It is obvioulsy Sprint has gotten a great impact on sales as the third carrier in US, so it is in terms of significance for Sprint to sell the apple iphone.

Recently Samsung Mobile CEO Shin Jong-Kyun said that its Samsung Galaxy S II smart phone will come to us in August this year, in 2011, Though she doesn’t tell us the exact release date for each version of Galaxy S ii, we guess Sprint will firstly offer the Samsung Galaxy S ii Within for us, maybe on August 1st. Of course, We cannot exclude the possibility that the three major carriers AT&T , Verizon and Sprint will release the Galaxy S 2 for us at the same time. As for this problem, how do you think of it? Recently one report from Ciadel Securities analyst Shing Yin mentions that Sprint Version of iPhone is likely to come this year!

Recently the Samsung Galaxy S 2 US Carrier Branding has been confimred, it is said Sprint will release the Galaxy S II under the name as Samsung Galaxy S 2 Within. In addtion, we also hear that AT&T should get the Galaxy S 2 called Galaxy Attai, and Verizon will also launch the Galaxy S II renamed Galaxy S 2 Funcion. It doesn’t mention whether T-Mobile will carry the Samsung Galaxy S II or not.

Sprint will offer BlackBerry Curve 8530, too

Shortly after Verizo announced it would release the blackberry Curve 8530 on november 20th, Sprint also said it would offer the Curve 8530, too. Unlike Verizon, Sprint isn’t mentioning what’s the release date, price and details for the low-end BlackBerry , but now the device has been official on Sprint site, and a Sprint spokesperson said that it is definitely coming and will be packing Wi-Fi and EV-DO, too. The price point should be about the same as Verizon’s.

We have been infored that sprint will begin to sell the blackberry tour on July 12 th, and meanwhile verizon will release the blackberry tour. Before July 12th, you can pre-order one tour phone from verizon. However, today we have read from sprint’s Twitter message that there will be no pre-orders for the BlackBerry Tour. Of course, there is always a chance that if enough complaints come in, Sprint will cancel their decision.
