    • ]]>     The palm pixi is another great smartphone, just has been announced to be available exclusively from Sprint at first soon. The  new Sprint Phones – Sprint palm Pixi is similar to palm pre, but it is much simpler, and  thinner slab form factor than pre, so we can say it is the thinnest Palm smartphone ever. This honestly upsets me a bit, I have planned to buy the palm pre, but now I change my decesion to get the palm pixi after seeing it. As the pixi looks really so nice and cool. By contrast, I feel the pre is a little hulking. Sadly, the smartphone doesn’t support WiFi, but with Sprint’s EVDO rev A you don’t need Wifi as badly as you need it with AT&T’s horrible 3G.

    New Sprint Phones – Sprint palm Pixi cell phone photos:

    new-sprint-pixi-cell-phone-1The Sprint palm Pixi is candybar with a touchscreen display and a full QWERTY keypad like the pre, but its specs are a step down from the Pre, although presumably at a lower price point. It comes with a  2 Mp camera with smaller display, 8 GB of internal memory, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.  The pixi also runs on WebOS, and supports some  improvements to its Synergy sync feature, including integration with Yahoo! (contacts, calendar and IM) and LinkedIn (contacts).  We have heard the palm pixi will be availble in New York, during the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week (10 – 17 September).Unfortunately, there is  no an actual release date, also no pricing on it. But we’ll update for yoy in time.

    • ]]>     Sprint recently it will release a updated version of blackberry tour with Wifi at early 2010. Meamwhile, sprint also requires its publisher to add WiFi in all Future Smartphones. Frankly, sprint’s this action is indeed cute, as Smartphones without is downright criminal.
